The reasons you launched the client and it directed to Nexon because you didn't replaced Vindictus.exe with the private server used ones obviously. I guess I'll download the client linked in the op tomorrow and try it out. I followed installation instructions and every time I run the vindictus.exe it opens my browser to nexon website saying my client is out of date. It seems not to work with official client.
